This is a free 5 week interactive nutrition information program for adults that is divided into 5 topics. The topics are: Introduction into childhood obesity and diseases it causes, nutrition and fast foods, portion sizes, reading a nutrition label, and calories and fitness. Classes meet once a week for 2 hour sessions and are offered in English and Spanish. The program is currently being co-sponsored by Bottino ShopRIte and held at their Upper Deerfield and Vineland stores. Food prizes and coupons, as well as a healthy snack are given out by ShopRite during each class. Registration is on a rolling basis with class size limited to 15 per session.
